FAQ

Questions about pet sitting

Is sitting overnight?

Hourly pet sitting is for visits during the day or evening. Overnight care at your home is a separate Overnight Pet Sitting service.

How is pet sitting different from a drop-in visit?

Pet sitting is hourly care with a longer visit window you choose. Drop-in visits are shorter check-ins for tasks like feeding, water, and a potty break.

Where does the sitting happen?

Pet sitting is care at the address on your booking — usually your home — so pets stay in a familiar space.

Can the sitter give medication?

Only if you list it clearly in the booking and the provider agrees. Sitters should not be asked to give treatment they are not comfortable with, and Paw Haven does not replace your veterinarian.

How do I share keys or access details?

Put access notes, gate codes, and key instructions in the booking so the provider has what they need for that visit. Keep messages inside Paw Haven.

Who sets the price?

Independent providers set their own rates in the app. This website does not invent or guarantee marketplace pricing.

Can I book for more than one pet?

Yes, if the provider accepts multiple pets on that booking. Share temperament, feeding, and house rules for each pet in the request.
